Additionally, the first Saturday of each month at 10:30am we host a free 'Intro to CrossFit' class. This class caters to those interested in CrossFit and no fitness experience is required. No need to sign up or book a spot in the class, just come ready to learn and workout!

The Saturday intro class is approximately 1 hour and includes:
-Short talk about CrossFit; what it is and how it can help you achieve your health  
   and fitness goals
-A warm-up
-Coaching of a few basic movements
-Short workout tailored towards beginners
-Time to answer any questions and complete membership process if ready

What is CrossFit?  
CrossFit programming is designed to help people achieve broad and general fitness, and while CrossFit serves many elite training programs, it is designed for universal scalability and is ideal for everyone from grandmothers to professional athletes. CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many division 1 sports programs, military units, police academies and Olympic athletes. The methodology is built around constantly varied functional movements done at high intensity, and combines cardiovascular activities, weightlifting, and gymnastics in as many ways as possible, routine is the enemy.

The coaches at Rattlesnake Mountain CrossFit come from diverse athletic backgrounds and experience, but they all have one thing in common, they care. We know every member and their fitness goals, and strive to provide the training, education, and motivation to meet these goals. Here at RMX we provide an encouraging environment for you to train, fostering a community where ego's and bad attitudes don't fly. As a coaching staff, we are committed to pursuing excellence and pushing you to thrive, not just survive. We are invested in taking care of you and take pride in helping you to achieve your fitness goals while getting you prepared for any obstacle or task life may throw at you.
