SATURDAY UPDATE: Since we opened our doors, Saturday has been a free day for members as well as anyone who wants to come give CrossFit a try. Due to our membership growth over the last year we find it necessary to start limiting Saturdays to RMX members and experienced crossfitters so that we can provide the best experience possible. Thank you for understanding and thank you to all of you who have helped make RMX the box it is. We will be doing a free Intro to CrossFit class, open to the public on the first Saturday of the month at 10:30 am. This is a great class for anyone looking to begin CrossFit. The dates for the next 3 beginners classes are as follows: Aug 5th, Sep 2nd and Oct 7th. Please email us or message our Facebook page if you have any questions. What is CrossFit?
CrossFit programming is designed to help people achieve broad and general fitness, and while CrossFit serves many elite training programs, it is designed for universal scalability and is ideal for everyone from grandmothers to professional athletes. CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many division 1 sports programs, military units, police academies and Olympic athletes. The methodology is built around constantly varied functional movements done at high intensity, and combines cardiovascular activities, weightlifting, and gymnastics in as many ways as possible, routine is the enemy.
The coaches at Rattlesnake Mountain CrossFit come from diverse athletic backgrounds and experience, but they all have one thing in common, they care. We know every member and their fitness goals, and strive to provide the training, education, and motivation to meet these goals. Here at RMX we provide an encouraging environment for you to train, fostering a community where ego's and bad attitudes don't fly.
