Introduction to CrossFit

Are you ready to make a commitment to your health and fitness but wondering if CrossFit is right for you? We want you to assure you that everyone can do CrossFit regardless of age, injuries, or current fitness level. That’s right, you do not need to be in shape before you start CrossFit! CrossFit is infinitely scalable, meaning that all of our workouts and movements can be modified to meet you where you’re at right now and still make progress toward your goals.

Over the years, we have learned that having a new member jump directly into a CrossFit class without an introduction to the methodology and how we do things at our gym does not always make for the best experience. This is why we require anyone who does not already have at least three months of CrossFit experience under their belt to go through our Intro to CrossFit Program.

Our intro program lasts for 4 weeks with 2 different parts.

The first part consists of 4 classes, with a coach assigned to you, spread out over the first 2 weeks. These classes are scheduled at 6pm on a Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday split. Intro classes are designed to safely bring a new member up to speed on the basics of how our gym operates as well as teaching basic body weight movements. We also focus on proper technique and form for working with barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells.

The second part consists of 2 weeks of unlimited membership at any class time you wish to attend.
